A snake relies on an olfactory sense organ – called the Jacobsons Organ – to detect environmental stimuli important to its survival. The ingredients in Snake-A-Way effectively disorient snakes by temporarily disrupting this organ, sending them in search of fresh air.

Snake-A-Way is easy to apply – wearing gloves, open the bag or container and spread the granules along the perimeter of the areas you want to protect such as around houses, cabins, trailers, gardens, and more. For garter snakes, sprinkle Snake-A-Way in bands 4 to 5 inches wide, and for rattlesnakes, sprinkle in bands 8 to 12 inches wide. Apply as directed, and see immediate results.

Snake-A-Way snake repellent is registered with the Environmental Protection Agency and uses Sulphur and Naphthalene as its active ingredients. This means it will not have effects on humans or the environment when used as directed.
